FAQ

Rv Buying and Selling

Are there any guarantees on the used RVs you have for sale?

Most of our used RVs are inspected for proper fitness before they are offered for sale, and in most cases we will guarantee the serviceability of appliances and components in a used unit for 30 days. Please speak with a sales representative for complete details about this policy. Some used late model RVs may have factory warranty remaining that can be transferred to a new owner.

Does Curtis Trailers accept trade-ins?

Yes, many of our customers trade in vehicles – we can take your RV trailer, fifth wheel, motor home, car, truck or boat on trade – even if you’re still making payments on it. Contact one of our sales representatives by phone, email or in person with as many details as possible and they will help you get the best trade-in value possible.

Does Curtis Trailers buy used RVs?

Yes, we can buy your late model towable RV. Please contact our Sales Department by telephone, email or in person if you would like us to make an offer to purchase. We are most likely to buy units that are 10 years old or less, but we do make exceptions for RVs in especially good condition.

I’ve found an RV at Curtis Trailers that I think I’d like to purchase. What do I do next?

Great! Contact one of our sales representatives by telephone, email or in person and they will help work out the details with you such as price, hitching equipment, options and accessories, trade-ins, financing and final delivery arrangements.

What are the warranties on the new RVs that Curtis Trailers has for sale?

RV warranties will vary by manufacturer, so it is best to contact someone in our Sales Department for an explanation of warranty duration and coverage. We also offer mechanical breakdown coverage plans to enhance your factory warranty protection and peace of mind.

Rv Inventory Details

Can I get more pictures of a particular unit?

Absolutely – just call or send us an inquiry and tell us what you would like to see in more detail. We would be happy to take additional pictures and email them to you.

How do I get more information about a unit I’m looking at on your site?

Every listing has a button titled “Inquire Directly About This RV”. This will open a contact form that you can use to provide us with your name, email address, phone number and any questions you might like to ask us. If you prefer to call, our telephone numbers are displayed at the bottom of every page.

How long should I expect to wait for a response to my email inquiry?

If your request was sent during our normal business hours, you will probably receive a response within a couple of hours. Inquiries that are sent while our sales department is closed will be followed up when we open the next business day.

How often is the inventory updated on your web site?

Our inventory listings are automatically updated on the web site every day, usually around 1 am. This includes adding new inventory, updating unit status, descriptions and pricing. Photos for brand new listings might take a few days because we add them individually.

I’m looking at one of your inventory listings that says “Sale Pending”. What exactly does that mean?

Usually that means that a unit is still on our sales lot and we have a customer that’s in the process of purchasing it. When a sale is completed and we no longer have the inventory item, it is removed from our site. Sometimes a sale will not close and the unit will become available once again – if so, the status will be updated on the site within 24 hours. You are always welcome to inquire about the immediate status of a unit.

What happens when I click the “Save RV” button in an inventory listing?

Pushing the “Save RV” button in a listing will create a temporary cookie that allows you to quickly find a listing that you viewed earlier. You can also create an account on our web site and save an RV or parts listing for a longer period of time. The top right corner of each page in the site has a link to your saved RVs and parts items.

What if there is a mistake with an RV listing?

Although we strive to make sure the information presented in a listing is correct, sometimes mistakes can occur. Curtis Trailers will not be liable for any possible errors or omissions within the listing including (but not limited to) pricing, options, availability and photos. Pictures of new units may be representative photos of another unit in the same model and not the exact unit offered in the listing so please contact us for verification of interior color and options before initiating a purchase. Please help us by letting us know if you see something that you think may be in error so that we may correct it as soon as possible.
